SMS Server Web Edition

Overview

The MX Telecom "SMS Server Web Edition" system provides companies and content providers an easy and effective web based tool for managing SMS services. Key functionality includes the ability to broadcast SMS to multiple recipients, receive SMS and to set auto-responses to incoming SMS. The system is hosted on secure MX Telecom servers and provides a perfect tool for those wanting to run relatively simple SMS campaigns without the need for their own technical infrastructure.

Mailing Lists

Create and edit mailing lists and upload mobile numbers.

Auto-responses

Set up auto-responses to SMS received via a MX Telecom Short code, Virtual Mobile or SIM. Multiple auto-responses can be configured for each Mailing List with built in delays between sending. The responses can be non-billed (Bulk SMS) or reverse-billed (Reverse Billing SMS) where appropriate.

Compose auto-response and select destination mailing list. Where applicable choose originator message.

Message Routing

Incoming SMS can be routed by "keyword" into specific Mailing Lists. A keyword is the first word or series of words typed into the body of an incoming SMS.

Send SMS - Compose Message

Compose messages and select mailing lists to which SMS will be sent. Where appropriate change the SMS account (i.e. Reverse Billing or Bulk SMS) and the originator field. Select "Normal" or "Flash" SMS message.

Send SMS - Select Recipients

Identify and select mailing list to which SMS should be delivered.

Send SMS - Schedule Delivery

Select when SMS should be sent, either immediately, or at a designated time and date.

Send Requests

See a record of all sent messages.

View Incoming

See incoming SMS sorted by mailing list in real time.

Quick Send

Send SMS without having to create a mailing list first, by entering one or more numbers.

Utilities

Enter a mobile number to retrieve a message history, and call up mailing lists relevant to that number.
