MX Telecom SIM Card Hosting Service

Overview

The MX Telecom SIM Card Hosting Service is available for clients who want to receive SMS messages on a SIM Card, for whatever reason. Almost all the time, using a virtual mobile number is the preferred solution, although there will be sometimes cases where clients wish to host a SIM Card.

Upon receipt of an SMS the SIM Card Hosting Service will make a HTTP request to your servers, or pass the message to your account one one of our hosted applications.

Full Hosting Service (GSM)

MX Telecom can host a GSM Terminal with your own SIM card at a secure MX Telecom data facility, as part of a Two-Way messaging service. To setup an account, MX Telecom will require the following:

• An unblocked SIM card subscribing to a mobile network of your choice, with International Roaming Switched on.
• This SIM card to be posted to MX Telecom in London. The following SIM card information will also be required: mobile phone number, operator name, and SIM card PIN code.
• A URL to pass messages to (please see the technical section for more detail), or an account on one of our hosted applications.

Please contact us for more information on setting up a service. In many cases it may be that a virtual mobile number is more suitable.
